Covered Bridge

This was taken in Northern Maryland...a place called River Valley Ranch.  We love going
there to take in the beautiful surroundings.  It was a gorgeous early fall day when I took this shot!

Cute bridge and a lovely photo. River Valley Ranch is only minutes from my home. It is a pretty place, my son went there for a summer camp week.

Its amazing how someone with talent takes a picture of a bridge and it looks so great. Then I would take the same picture and it would look so boring. Thanks for sharing you talent!

That is an amazing covered bridge. I just love them. We have one close to us, but it is a new bridge, a replica of the one that once allowed buggies to cross the Embarrass River. (pronouned am-braw)

Covered bridges are wonderful. We have one about 50 miles form our house but it is the only one. Too bad this is in northern MD being that I go to Chestertown twice a year. I have family there. Is it still in use? genie

Oh so beautiful! We have some rustic old bridges here in Missouri, but no covered ones that I know of. I was just commenting to someone else that I'd love to cruise through Madison Co, IL and then up into the northeast and find some covered bridges to take pictures of. Just cruisin' the backroads as we please. Thanks for sharing!
