How fascinating! This house was obviously cloaked in vines at one time, but it looks as if the owner has done what he can to clear them. Makes you wish that houses could really talk, huh?
When I see old places like this that nature is slowly taking over I can't help but wonder at the lives that once lived and thrived behind the walls. A nice shot Janis!
I just spent Friday traveling around our back roads to capture some of the old buildings there...I think they make such grand photos. Nice shot here. Thank you so much for stopping by my place to say hello!

Beautiful, depending those window panes - I'm thinking Abraham Lincoln time.
A prime example of "if walls could talk."
I like the colors and textures you catpured.

All i wanna do is get inside & explore that ol place! WoW! Incredible! =)

Just hanging w/ the vines now...
Old is an understatement! Great pics, and in your header....

Wow! Great find. I'm sure there is a story within those decaying walls. Wonder what it is?
I see many old abandoned places around my area too. They have a haunting beauty about them. Love this shot!
