is the the place to go. This historic site is now the Heritage Rail Trail County Park of York Pa. and it goes on for 21 miles. It connects the historic district of downtown York Pa. with Maryland's northern central rail trail while traveling through 11different municipalities. A very interesting day trip for the entire family
Unique sculptures sit along the trail

Yard art and all, very pretty place to photograph.
Great pictures you show. Thank you for visiting my blog. Wishing you a good weekend :)
Love those sculptures and that red building sure stands out. Would love to go for a walk there, maybe next trip to PA.
You captured the beauty of country living at its finest.
Oh my gosh....would I EVER LOVE to go on this trail. Color me green with envy.
You mentioned that your hubby had to 'jump start the car' for your first born, was it because of wintry weather?
You're lucky. While we in the Midwest have some historical signs, people living in the eastern states have quite the quantity of historical markers. They help make history come alive and hopefully inspire people to investigate more or to appreciate the message.
